Guest of Honor: KAZUKI OMORI
The director of Godzilla vs King Ghidorah joined the G-FEST celebration of that fabulous film. Mr. Omori's other G-credits include directing Godzilla vs Biollante, as well as screenwriting G vs Biollante, G vs KG, G vs Mothra, and G vs Destroyah. Most recently, Mr. Omori once again teamed up with spfx director Koichi Kawakita to film Toho's latest sci-fi epic, Sazer-X (released in Japan last December).
Special Guest: ROBERT SCOTT FIELD
Scott is well-known to G-FEST attendees, but his return in 2006 held a special meaning. The convention was themed around his G-film Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, and Scott was honored for his tremendous service to G-fans by being awarded the coveted Mangled Skyscraper Award.
Special Guest: YOSHIKAZU ISHII
First assistant director of special effects on Godzilla: Final Wars. A special guest at last year’s G-FEST XII, we were happy to have Mr Ishii return again for this year’s convention. Special Guest: ROBERT CONTE
Returning for G-FEST XIII, Robert Conte has edited issues of Dark Horse Comics' Godzilla comic books, licensed and published a series of Godzilla lithographs and has made several media appearances discussing Godzilla, including CNN, NBC, and HSN. Robert also wrote the text for, and completely packaged, an all-new series of Godzilla collector cards for Comic Images.
